Pepperwhite Street V2 Update

Updated 5 Feb 2007

(727,979 bytes self installing .exe)

V2 Build 76

Enhancements and modifications

Build 76

Corrected geocoder bug that sometimes caused address lookup for US Highways to sometimes fail.

Corrected geocoder bug that caused rare lookup problems with streets with predirectionals (e.g. East or West).

Improved rendering speed and labeling of user defined lines and user defined polygons in both static and animated modes.

Build 70

Corrected geocoder bug experienced when performing an address lookup operation for an address whose zipcode straddled county boundaries. Previously these lookups would return other than the best match or would report the best match with a lowered (incorrect) match score.

Corrected a geocoder bug experienced when using very long street address strings, most often experienced when using corrupted input database information. An untrapped exception sometimes caused the component to report that it had disconnected.

Build 66

Improved the scroll bar interface, new interface scrolls the map proportional to the scale of the map.

Added additonal project file statements designed to simplify the disabling of the US map data by users who are supplying their own data. Improved the runtime performance of attached map file labeling.

Enhanced the GetVersion result string to indicate whether or not the Professional Edition is in use.

Added Set/GetAttachedLabelColor and Set/GetAttachedInternalLayer functions.

Corrected bug in SetMapCenter function that caused the map to appear to be distored due to incorrect projection in some rare cases.

Added BeforePaint event to assist developers porting applications from a competing product.

Modified search/requirement for pwstreet.ini file.

If the file is not located in the "windows" directory, an attempt is made to open it in the applications's (.exe) path.

If the file is still not found, the application's path is assumed to contain the standard map data.

Build 56

Added support for very large polygons and polylines in PWC files.

Corrected the angle reported when using mouse measure tool on a rotated map.

Enhanced the display of the mouse measurement tool.

Build 54

Corrects incorrectly placed labels of polyline PWC files on rotated maps.

Build 52

Corrected problem with lookup of certain long street names (e.g. 123 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY)

Build 51

Added an Action of SetSelectedObjectsRendering to match the functionality of the corresponding "method" for Clarion users.

Added GetUnzoomDepth (Action = 243) returns available unzoom count in .Value property

Corrected GDI leak problem experienced when printing more than 100,000 maps in one session.

Corrected memory leak associated with some uses of GetNearestCity.

Added code in OnMouseDown to remove object outlining from user defined point if point is right clicked instead of left clicked.

Additional geocoder improvements.
